Happy Birthday, Alberta!
Alberta, as a province, is 100 years old today. That just seems so...
young... in terms of things. Look at Europe. That's not even old. But
on a North American scale, it's almost the same.
There are many centennial celebrations today. In fact, they all seem to
be today.
It's a Thursday. People have work and school tomorrow. Hmmm.
Maybe the government and business should have got together, and for one
day in a hundred years, declared an extra stat, so people could
participate in daytime events today. Or tomorrow off, so everyone can
see the fireworks tonight with out fears of trying to wake children for
school tomorrow.
Oh well.
So, I got myself a Gmail account. Now I have a whack of invites.
Anyone in my circle of friends desire a new email address?
-R.
