Saturday v. Sunday

Today is Saturday. Today is a work day.

Not the 'in-the-office' type of work day (though I did check my work email... bad, Rob, bad!). But an at home work day. Laundry, cleaning, errand running, studying... and a birthday dinner for my brother-in-law tonight.

So, despite the glourious sunshine outside and the 15C on the mercury... today is the day to feel it only through the window.

Sunday, on the other hand... Sunday is golden. Sunday is the rest day, where I plan to soak up as much of that sun as I possibly can. I may very well do it whilst taking notes on the exciting world of end-user information systems... but Sunday is not a work day. Coffee, late breakfast, and watching the cat lounge around.

And that, everyone, is the difference between Saturday and Sunday. Saturday is just another work day. Sunday is where the real relaxation is at.

You're boring, aren't you?

Man, I love it when such gifted, talented people take time out of their busy, entirely entertaining lives to truly push themselves to the limits of their own creativity and inspire us all with a clever mumble-jumble of declarative sentence and rhetorical question!

(Unless you know this person!)

Well done on that polysyllabic reply! Your Reader's Digest subscription is clearly paying off. Now, if you could turn that extensive vocabulary to explaining how that in any way disputes the fundamental boringness of this blog, I'd be keen to hear it.

No, Ash, I don't know this person... though sad that they seem to care so much about the content of my blog. If it's that boring, why keep up with it? Cut and run, buddy.

Bahahaa! What promptness! Clearly, this blog is entertaining enough to keep you coming back. At the most fundamental level, a repeat reader would refute any notion of this blog being tainted with "boringness." Therefore, I have nothing to dispute as you've contraticted yourself!

Well, I have to say... don't know if others find the blog itself interesting, but this banter is certainly enjoyable! Popcorn, anyone?

I wouldn't be surprised to find that this is the most entertainment you've had in a while. I don't think I need to comment on how that's a bit sad. Sorry I was a few days late, hope the popcorn isn't too stale.

Okay, so here's the thing. If you are someone I know, you probably know how to reach me either on the phone or via email... so take it up with me (whatever 'it' is) in person.

If I don't know you... do you need a job or something? I'm sure I can find you some resources.

I think it's some British guy, Rob. Think he's tagged your page so he can get back here easily? I find it pretty funny. Also, does my last response remind you of Princess Bride at all? LOL

As your wife, I can acknowledge that we are a bit boring. But... wanna know something funny? I love that about us! I love that familiarity and consistancy that "anonymous" translates into boring. I love that I always know just what you are going to do :)
