Happy Trails to You...

Ashleigh left for Thailand this morning. Morgan and I woke up a little after 3am to wish her adieu, safe travels, and do what we could to start her journey off on a happy note - with smiles, well-wishes, and love.

I am sure she met with much of the same at the airport with Marc and Meghan.

You're probably in Seoul right now with your 12-hour layover. Hope you get to explore a bit before the next leg. It's like the Amazing Race, except you choose your detours and all roadblocks are optional. And, no elimination rounds!

Watched a great movie tonight. Crash. No, not the one where people crash cars and have sex because it's a turn on. The new one, with Don Chedale. Excellent flick. A thinker, for sure.

I wonder - if showing a movie like that during a Sensible Living discussion would have any impact? Although I really do believe that it doesn't matter what race you are - people are people - it really does challenge a lot of actions and beliefs.

Speaking of Crash, just as it was ending, we saw a lot of flashing lights outside. A paramedic unit, an ambulance, and a fire truck. All going to our neighbour's house. Soon, a man was wheeled out on a gurney.

We know he's been ill, and we know his wife by name - but just what do we say to her? "We were watching your husband being taken away by EMS - you okay?"

Everyone is a voyeur. Or, at least I am.
